On New Years day Nexus Production Group wrapped their bold, one night fully improvised feature film, Friends, Foes & Fireworks, a drama inspired by the Mumblecore film movement and its influencers such as Greta Gerwig. Friends, Foes & Fireworks explores the friendship of five Melbourne actors, exploring how over the course of the night their relationships become tested as realisations are reached. Although this film is keeping them busy in post production, with a completion date set for early July, NPG have been simultaneously working on their next improvised feature film, In Corpore.

NEW AUSTRALIAN DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILM SCREENING AT UNITED NATIONS

Australian director and co-producer Sarah Barton will accompany her new documentary feature DEFIANT LIVES to New York where it has been invited to screen at the United Nations on June 14 for the 10th Annual Conference of State Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRDP).
