The ABC is excited to announce filming has commenced on the third six-part season of award-winning comedy Fisk. The series is created, written, co-directed by – and starring – one of Australia’s most beloved comedians, Kitty Flanagan.

Australian actress Erin Connor has emerged as one of the standout stars of Anno 2020, the mystery-drama feature film which celebrated its world premiere at a red-carpet screening in Sydney this month.   

Screen Australia and Los Angeles-based television powerhouse, Dynamic Television have launched the Dynamic Television Scripted Initiative. This innovative program will fund the development of up to four standout scripted television projects, helping to position them for global success as they move into production.

ACMI has partnered with Ludo Studio, the Emmy-award winning production company behind Bluey, Robbie Hood and The Strange Chores, to establish a 3-month $10,000 residency giving local animators the opportunity to create the next global hit from the creative incubator housed at Australia’s national museum of screen culture.  

Music and broadcasting executive Meagan Loader will join the National Film and Sound Archive as its Chief Curator.
