‘COUNTRYMAN’ DOCUMENTARY ON BONDS BETWEEN FIRST NATIONS AUSTRALIANS AND CROATIA, SHOWCASED ON AUSTRALIA DAY IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

The Australian feature documentary COUNTRYMAN, (or ZEMLJAK in Croatian/ MANU WALJJI in Warumungu), has premiered in Croatia. The Australian Embassy hosted the premiere screening in Zagreb, Croatia, at a gala event to mark Australia Day. 300 guests including many Croatian dignitaries came to watch this film which documents and exemplifies the ties between First Nations Australians, Croatians, and Australians of Croatian descent.
